Britain’s Got Talent: Simon Cowell’s heart melted by 12-year-old singer Lauren Thalia

Simon Cowell is a tough man to make melt, but it can be done and Dannii Minogue and other striking brunettes have nothing to do with it as tonight's Britain's Got Talent proves. In tonight's Britain's Got Talent a 12-year-old singer takes centre stage (and not Simon Cowell's private life).

Lauren Thalia wowed judges with her version of Keri Hilson's Turn My Swag On, performing with a guitar that looked ready to engulf her!

Simon was straight in there with the praise: "Because you're posh and you're talking about swag, it's even better. 'Turn my swag on', I like that."

And it didn't stop there, he added: "I like it when kids your age choose the song, rather than your mum and dad choosing it for you.

"I liked the fact that your guitar was too big for you, that you couldn't play it that well and there was a little break in your voice but actually it made it more believable."

High praise indeed.

David Walliams compared the auditonee to someone rather famous... "You're a little angel and I like that you're kinda like Alanis Morissette," he said "A very tiny Alanis Morissette. I really liked it."

The girls agreed to with Alehsa Dixon adding: "You're as cute as a button. To hear you sing about 'get your swag on' you are adorable, well done."

Carmen Electra summed things up nicely too: "Britain really does have talent, girl you rocked. You sang such a gangster song."

You'll need to tune in tonight to watch the full audition, we can't wait!
